Roof Colors

What is the best roof color for a red brick house?

Red brick reads warm, so the safest roof colors are ones that share that warmth or stay neutral enough not to fight it. Weathered wood, driftwood, and brown blends are the classic pairings; they pull the tan and mortar tones out of the brick and look intentional.

For a more modern contrast, charcoal and black-brown shingles work well because they ground the warm brick without clashing. Pure cool grays and blue-grays are the ones to avoid: next to red brick they can look mismatched.

Because brick varies a lot from house to house, preview a few options on your actual facade before committing.
